Keep reading to find out more.
The Big Idea
Your work is filled with meaning and purpose whether you see it today or not. God created you to work and He cares deeply about your work. You are not left alone to do everything by yourself. God and His resources, ideas and creativity are fully available to you.
We were created to have a seamless life with Christ; that means we can and should have a full integration of our spiritual life and our work.
My goal for this site is to simply help you connect your faith to your daily work, so that you can work with the fulfillment God designed you to have.
Sometimes it can be easy to know how we should think biblically about things, but knowing what that means for our work on a daily basis may not always be so clear. That is precisely where I want to help. I produce regular content that will help you to not only think biblically about work but also help you to know how to work practically on a daily basis.
What You Can Expect
CONTENT. The content published on this site will show everyday examples of how to approach work and how to partner with God. Sometimes work is great and smooth and sometimes it just isn’t. God has shown me a lot about His intentions for our work and I want to share it all with you.
BLOG. We publish new BLOG posts every week on Tuesday.
Here are a few posts to get you started:
PODCAST. We will be launching a new PODCAST soon (Summer 2019!). The content will explore everyday situations we encounter in our work and will discuss related biblical principles. It will give examples how to partner with God in your work.
EQUIPPED FOR WORK. We also want to equip you to work with excellence. True Christian work is any work done well. This site will soon offer a DIGGING DEEPER section (coming Summer 2019) that will help you to work with excellence. It will also help you to know how to respond to common issues of faith and culture that come up in our daily work.
REALITY CHECK. Work isn’t always pretty, but nothing in your work is arbitrary. We may not always like what we experience, but God will not waste anything. I won’t sugarcoat or gloss over any difficulties. Instead, I will help you find the truth and faith that God wants you to have in every situation. God has shown me His provision in difficult times – no matter what, you can walk in freedom and confidence daily in your work.
PRACTICAL. I want to know what you want to hear about. Email me at Ryan@YourFaithAtWork.org or comment on any of the content to let me know!

The Story: Your Faith At Work
When I first gave my life to Christ, the way others talked about their story made me wonder whether I had to pursue some sort of church-related ministry. I decided to continue my current course of studies and began a career on the path I was already taking. It wasn’t until years later that I came to understand that God actually created most people to work outside the church.
This breakthrough started the path to what God would begin to build into a deep understanding of faith and work. It was the motivation for the topic of my doctoral dissertation. My goal was to explore the role of work in the life of Christ-followers – I was surprised to find how much God wants to use our work and how He desires to partner with us.
I have always had a passion for writing, but several years after I started my PhD, I felt led to get more serious about publishing. My wife and I started going to writing and publishing workshops – I had to pick a topic, so I chose faith and work. At the time I had hoped I would be able to stretch something to make the topic work for a blog. Little did I know what God had planned.
God quickly showed me that what I thought would be a stretch was actually something foundational to His nature and His creation: God is a worker and He created us to work in partnership with Him. I am excited to now have this website that can help you truly work the way God created you to.
